There's this cool new thing...

Seriously, all the kids are doing it. It's called a Web log, or, in the current vernacular, "blog." It's brand new - apparently, you write stuff down (like, what you did today or other such fascinating fare), millions upon millions of people magically read it, you gain all sorts of fame and celebrity, and make tons of cash. So, I gotta get in on that before anyone else figures it out.

OK, so I'm figuring out what to blog about as I go along. I'm used to 1000+ word missives, so this should be an interesting change. In any event, I'll try to stay "on-topic," meaning that I'll mostly go into the usual fare (digital design, 3D, motion graphics, etc.), but I'll also get a chance to return to the halcyon days of opinion entries. I'm also threatening to branch out, hence the "Pop Culture" category, but I'm just as skeptical as you probably are about that. Anyway, bottom line is that I promise not to completely and totally waste your time, and with a buildup like that, how can you not stay tuned?
