Open Source Moonlight is completed in 21 days
It is clear that Moonlight does run on Linux. This gives Microsoft bragging rights to Silverlight on all major OS platforms (sorry, Palm OS does not count). What I am not sure about is which version of Silverlight has been ported - the 1.0 or 1.1 versions. There is a big difference between the two. One is really a XAML viewer while the 1.1 has the new DLR so you can code Silverlight projects using IronPython and IronRuby. I am sure details will come out soon.
