Expression Blend 2 Beta 1 is out!
I have been following the exploits for Silverlight for a long time (sing the days of PDC 2005!). When Microsoft announced the real name and a beta browser plugin in April, my first reaction was "Cool! Now, how do I develop for this thing?"
The answer was not immediatly apparent (OK, yeh, I could have used Notepad, but I am too lazy for that). The real answer comes with Microsoft's release of Expression Blends 2, the WPF design tool. The new release fully supports the development of WPF and Silverlight solutions.
Download the beta here: http://www.microsoft.com/Expression/products/download.aspx?key=blend2maypreview
Now, if you do not mind, I have to go play with my new piece of software. I will let you know what I think of it.
