Dr Who: The Complete Second Series DVD Box Set Review.

Dr Who: The Complete Second Series DVD Box Set Review.

Dr Who has been on the screens for 45 years this year... and being British, it's hard not to be a fan of the show.

Recently, I received the Complete Second Series DVD box set, as a present, and I was amazed at what was included, aside from the episodes.

As it said on the packaging, over 7 hours of behind the scenes extras, everything from deleted scenes, out takes, the commentaries to the video diaries.

I have to give a special mention to the commentaries in this box set.  In previous box set I'd bought, there only been one commentary per disc, some times it would be some cast members, or some or the production crew.

For the box set... wow... not only do you get audio commentaries with the production crew, there are commentaries with members of the cast, and it's not just on ust one epsidoe per disc, there are commentaries for each episode.  And for on episode on each disc, there is what's called an in-vision commentary.

An in-vision commentary is, a picture in picture video, of the people doing the commentary track,  they're jus sat around a table watching the video.

It's a very well produce boxed set, and if you're like me, and enjoy finnding out aobut thet behind the scenes, you'll really enjoy this title.

Well worth getting.
