Refurbished MacBook: First Impressions
Just a little over an hour ago, the refurbished MacBook I ordered yesterday arrived.
Let's gloss over the fact that I missed the delivery, due to being in college, but fortunately, we got in touch with the delivery company, and they would try contact the driver, and see if he could try and deliver it again.
And since I'm typing this post on the MacBook, he did.
Upon opening the box, and removing the protective foam, you are presented with the MacBook, cables, power supply, Apple Remote, and the Installation discs and manuals.
It's nice and lightweight... especially when compared to my old 8 year old laptop.
The keyboard layout, will take a little getting used to, but you always get that when you use different ones.
As usual with new computers, there's always a big backlog of update to install, but that went pretty quickly, but that was more to do with the fact that I was using a wired connection, rather than the wireless.
I do have access to Wi-FI in the house I'm in, but I need to configure it first, and I don't have all the details that I need to do so.
But so far good.
