Event: Burbank IRIDAS + Adobe discuss RAW
Join IRIDAS and the Digital Cinema Society at the September DCS meeting where we will be discussing post-production RAW workflows using IRIDAS RealTime RAW 2.0 technology.
IRIDAS RealTime RAW 2.0 provides render-quality live de-Bayering in SpeedGrade and FrameCycler for all of the new generation of CMOS cameras including Arri D-21, Phantom HD/65, SI2K, Dalsa Origin/Evolution, and Red. We?ll use sample clips from each camera to illustrate the advantages of working with native RAW footage. Academy Award winner Price Pethel will be on hand to lend his expertise.
Adobe will also have a presentation on their Cinema DNG Digital Negative initiative, an effort to promote the exchange of camera RAW files.
Chris Bone from Videotape Products will host the event. He will discuss Sony?s S-Log and SR workflows. He will have F23 footage to show, and will be using a Sony HD projector for the event.
