MAXON at Siggraph 2008

MAXON, entering its 12th year as a SIGGRAPH exhibitor, will begin this year’s show on August 12th with a press conference and sit-down luncheon, hosted by MAXON USA’s president and CEO, Paul Babb, who will be on hand with Marco Tillman, MAXON Computer product manager, and renowned industry guest presenters to deliver breaking news, answer questions and provide demonstrations of the company’s popular CINEMA 4D and BodyPaint 3D software applications in action.

MAXON’s booth, #529, will also be the place for members of the press and all other SIGGRAPH attendees to see some of the industry’s most talented digital artists provide demos of MAXON’s professional 3D software. Additionally, on August, 14th, MAXON will host its first dedicated World Wide Users Group Meeting (WWUG) that promises to provide a more in-depth overview of the MAXON product suite and further the company’s commitment to educating the next generation of animation and visual effects artists. MAXON’s presence will also be felt throughout the show floor, most notably at the SIGGRAPH “Studio” (situated directly across from the MAXON booth), where show attendees will get the chance to interact directly with MAXON software and network with some of the most exciting digitally empowered creative artists, designers, researchers, and technicians in the world. The company’s BodyPaint 3D software will also be on display in the Wacom booth #925, boasting the most comprehensive utilization of Wacom's 6D Art Pen and tablet capabilities. At the Intel Corporation booth, #511, the company will be demonstrating the speed of their latest processors using MAXON's Cinebench real-world benchmarking test suite.
