BSG's Tricia Helfer comes to NVISION

If
you're a fan of Battlestar Galactica, you probably know Tricia Helfer
already. If you only casually watch the show, you may know her better
as Number Six.

Having worked on a digital compositing set in front of the camera,
Tricia can talk about what it's like before all of the digital effects
go in.

She's also worked on the latest Command and Conquer video games and gets to see what they look like before they hit the shelves.

NVIDIA today announced that Tricia Helfer, the actress widely known for her portrayal of ?Number Six? on Battlestar Galactica, the Emmy award-winning television drama series, will speak and appear at NVISION® 08.

Ms. Helfer, who plays the part of a beautiful but ruthless humanoid Cylon, will discuss her experience on the hit TV show, which makes extensive use of computer graphics technology to create stunning special effects.

While modeling, Ms. Helfer realized she had a passion for acting, leading her to Los Angeles where she earned a starring role on Battlestar Galactica.
