SEEN AT NAB: A Recap
I'll be posting several recap stories on the creativemac pages with a full report on NAB in Vegas. Overall, it was definitely not as busy as last year. The loss of Avid and Apple in the South Hall, coupled with the overall flailing U.S. economy, didn't help the attendance numbers (although reported at 105,000+ visitors*).
The Vendors to Visit did show off some interesting works, but there were other booths which proved to have some cool new solutions that were previously off my radar.
Dave Basulto shot a bunch of video which will be posted on broadcast/dmo or on CreativeMac as well. And I saw pixelcorps papa Alex Lindsay and his brother shooting during throughout the expo halls, so there should be plenty of that coverage available as well.
Great to see all of the long distance friends face to face again - even if we did lose money at the craps tables.**
