Encoding Video and Audio for Maximum Impact
April 14   ?   2:00 p.m.  -   3:15 p.m.
Las Vegas Convention Center N258

Encoding is one of the linchpins of the production world. It is the quiet savior (and killer) of projects every day, and a process that, if done correctly, may go completely unnoticed. Learn workflow techniques, specific applications for encoding, and how to identify the best source material and ways to treat it.

Television Networks and New Media
April 15   ?   3:30 p.m.  -   4:45 p.m.
Las Vegas Convention Center N256

Consumers are demanding new avenues for content delivery. Traditional Networks are looking to fill that need, but it?s not just as easy as plugging their video into a web page. Formats to choose, types of content, and sheer volume are all real world challenges to those interested in taking advantage of new media. Gain insight onto the hardware and software that networks want to be paying attention to as well as explore the newest formats, online distribution methods, and gain a perspective on the trends in online video consumption and where they can lead.

Audience: Anyone with a lot of content seeking non-traditional distribution options.
