Dungeons & Dragons' Gary Gygax

Sadly, Gary Gygax passed away today at 69 years old. 
  He created Dungeons and Dragons in 1974, which lead to
several different modules, video games and a movie and multiple copycat
games.

John K. Smith III and I used to sit and draw
maps, characters
and charts when we were little kids, occasionally roping his brother in
to serve as DM.   geeks? yes.  We loved
it.  I think I still have a bag of clear multi-sided dice
somewhere in the garage.
