Seeqpod

I don't condone downloading music without paying for it. Well with seeqpod.com you can't even download music so it isn't really an issue. I'm not even sure if this site is breaking any copyright laws. Anyway seeqpod coins itself...playable search. The site allows you to search and listen to pretty much any song you can think of, on your computer or iPhone or any mobile device with an internet connection. I learned about it from a podcast, and have since shared it with some of my colleagues. Through P2P, the site allows you to search and stream mp3 files to your computer. I find this great for work because instead of relying on the :30 preview you get in iTunes, with seeqpod, you can hear the whole song. So if I'm looking for a track to use in a piece I'm editing I can figure out if the song is what I'm looking for before I go and purchase it. Much of the time the :30 preview on iTunes just isn't enough of the song to make a judgement. Mind you most of the work I've been doing is non-commercial and for internal purposes only so fully licensing the music isn't necessary as far as I'm concerned although I'm certain there are a few a lawyers out there that would argue differently.
