SF Cutters has a meeting
at
dvGarage in San Francisco on Tuesday August 28th at 7:00 pm.
Sean Safreed of
Red Giant Software will be previewing the highly anticipated
Magic Bullet 3,
as well as showing Primatte Keyer and the new Trapcode filters for
Final Cut, Motion, and other editors (Shine, Starglow, and 3D Stroke).
Also on deck is Alberto Palacios of
Createmore, presenting "Media Storage for Editors."
I did a short review of the new-old Trapcode filters recently for
SF Cutters.
In short, though similar filters (or Replicators or Behaviors) can be
found in AE and Final Cut Studio, Trapcode's Shine, Starglow, and 3D
Stroke offer more control, unique features, and probably faster results
than the alternatives.
