Dork Alert: GAP member / PS3

Are you a member of the Game Advisory Panel for Sony too?  Yeah - dork alert, me too.



Well they've started a new contest if you haven't heard - prize:
fame/glory.  They need a new wallpaper design for PS3 - and rather than
hire a design firm, they want to give you 2 PS3 games. (oh. joy.)  But,
you will have bragging rights for all PS3-land!

DON'T FORGET TO READ THE FINE PRINT!

If you're ready to give the menu page of your PLAYSTATION®3 a little
artistic flair, read below and enter this contest. Not only will you
create fine art, if you win, the rest of the G.A.P. will be able to
download your creation and admire it each time they rev up their PS3
systems.



FIRST:

  • Design high-res wallpaper (1280 x 720 or larger)
  • Submit your design in .jpg format only via email attachment to community_support@playstation.sony.com
  • Use ONLY original art
  • DON'T USE any copyrighted material (unless it's first-party SCEA material)
  • Go absolutely crazy with creativity



THEN:

  • We'll choose the 10 best and post them on the G.A.P. site
  • You and other G.A.P. members will vote for a winner



FINALLY:

  • Our winner will get 2 PlayStation games
  • The winning wallpaper will be featured on the G.A.P. site



Forget the Louvre and the Guggenheim—this is where the masters will be showing their work! Good luck!
