New Instructions for After Effects

Some of the
industry's biggest names have developed some new instructional material for
Adobe After Effects.

To spice up your animations all you have
to do is take a few minutes with the masters.  Three of the experts hail from the Toolfarm forums.

Dean Velez, author of The Anvel Motion Graphics Projects has been giving away amazing projects for a couple of months - and his tutorial CDs are really inspirational.  Not only has Dean done work for his own company, but he's created material for Total Training and Adobe as well. You can see some of his free presets and information about how to order his training by visiting TheAnvel.com:

One of the Toolfarm lead moderators is  Harry Frank.  He's thrown his hat into the ring with a trio of tutorials about some expression usage in the popular software as well.  "Harry J. Frank, freelance motion graphics artist, instructor and Adobe Certified Expert, goes over the basics of Expressions – Expressions for the average designer. Harry teaches you the terminology and the tricks and even explains a bit of basic trigonometry (but don't worry, it won't bring back repressed high school math class memories!) Before you know it you will be adding Expressions everywhere. This training will add value to your technique and expand your After Effects skillset."

Another Toolfarm leader - John Dickinson has been putting some animated background projects and tutorials together which can also be found on the same site.  To see more about some of his tutorials check out the review article on CreativeMac:

Last, but certainly not least is a new DVD collection of podcast articles from Aharon Rabinowitz.  Although these tutorials are not new works from Aharon, they are a complete collection of his podcasts all in a single place.

Rather than waiting for the downloads of the individual small tutorials, you can get the larger, more detailed movies to put into your library in order to call up whenever you need.   You can find Aharon's podcast collection on his website:

The community of teachers within the software company's ranks and even outside of the Adobe campus point to the ever-increasing popularity of the software, and the excitement by all to share their knowledge about its hidden tips, tricks and treasures.

More soon.
