Wondertouch delivers UB version
With the release of the new multi-proc Macs, it's
obvious that we're moving quickly from the all PPC studios to all
MacTels. I'm not surprised to see more software start to
release, recoded for Universal Binary. The process isn't "click and
convert code" as you might think - so it's cool to see when UB versions
are offered as free upgrades.
We've covered particleIllusion quite a bit on DigitalMediaNet, and there will be much more coming about the software throughout the site.
If you want to learn about how to transfer data between After Effects and particleIllusion (uses older versions of software to include even non-upgraders), check out Aharon Rabinowitz's particleIllusion Fusion, an instructional video which offers methods on how to blend the two softwares together.
If you want to read about some other postings on DMO, you can find news, reviews and tips all over, but below are a couple of links to get you started with your reading. Of course, if you prefer to see the software in person, you can always come to NAB and check out wondertouch right next to the Adobe booth. - - If you want a free copy, come to the MMB Dinner on Monday @ NAB and try to win it as a door prize.

wondertouch(TM), a leading software
developer of high performance particle effects creation tools, is
pleased to announce the availability of a Universal Binary version of
particleIllusion(TM) 3.0 for Mac(R) OS(R) X, its award-winning
particle effects application.
In this release wondertouch has also updated pIllusionRender, the
standalone renderer included with particleIllusion 3.0, to support
batch rendering - functionality that has already been available to
users on the Windows platform. pIllusionRender is now a Universal
Binary as well.
particleIllusion 3.0.5 for OS X is available immediately. Owners of
particleIllusion 3.0 can download a free update to version 3.0.5 from
the wondertouch website, www.wondertouch.com.
