Get someone you love a battery back-up UPS. Okay so it doesn't say "I love you". But if you're looking for something to get mom and dad a big gift that they don't already have, and need (even if they don't know it) -- UPS. When the power goes out, it will give them those few minutes needed to save the document. You know that they don't save regularly while working on the computer.
