After Effects' ToonIt gets Tuned Up
Digital Anarchy announced the version 1.1 update for ToonIt! Film/Video.
Version 1.1 speeds up the rendering of ToonIt! by taking advantage of multi-processors. This allows users to quickly render cartoon-like images from film and video footage. The filters use advanced algorithms from Toonamation to create flat shades of color with full control over details like outlines, shading styles and halftone effects.

turn around a teapot: 3D teapot
Well, not a teapot, but a teacup. It's part of a larger ride promo but the tutorial outlines the same kind of "come in - go out" motion graphics stuff we need to do often.
With CINEMA4D's mograph it's pretty easy, but maybe not obvious to new users. Here's a free Cineversity tutorial and project that will show you how.
