SEEN AT NAB: Track it in 3D
Probably more popular than ever, 3D tracking will be part of the stereoscopic experience for production and post production.
At the NAB Expo in Las Vegas, I didn't have a chance to see whether or not Mr. Andersson had any new features to demo in the 2008 version of his popular SYNTHEYES 3D motion tracker. When I passed the booth, there were always people there eager to find out what the application did and how they could use it in their next project.
You can find Syntheyes in the South Hall, below the stairs near the escalators (along the walll closest to C hall) - - I don't even know what the booth number is..... he's near SmartSound....
