Premiere Pro CS3 Podcast #19: Creating a Slide-Show in Premiere Pro CS3 (part 1)

In this week's podcast, host Jeff Schell shows you how to create a photograph slide-show in Premiere Pro CS3. In this part 1 of a 2 part podcast, Jeff walks you through the best methods for using the "Automate to Sequence" feature. Jeff introduces some of the advanced preferences available when working with still images in Premiere Pro CS3, such as the "scale to frame size" option.

Jeff also shows how to change the default duration of a still image before importing it, as well as how to set any transition as your default transition. Finally, Jeff demonstrates how to automatically place an entire bin of still images on the timeline with a transition between each image, with the click of a single button. In next week's thrilling Part 2 conclusion, Jeff will teach you how to add scale and position keyframes to zoom in/out or pan across your photographs.
