RuneScape: Quest Related Melee Weapons

RuneScape: Quest Related Melee Weapons

Many quests will reward you with unique weapons - sometimes just a different weapon with no special ability and sometimes unique - such as a dagger that will prevent the men of Canifis to turn into werewolf, a sword that has a mighty strength to demonic kind, and more. Most of them, however, are P2P(members) only weapons. The free-to-play weapons are:

[image]SilverLight: Obtained during the Demon Slayer quest. It is not a very powerful weapon against most creatures, but it does surprisingly well against demons - when I did Demon Slayer, my max hit was 3. Against Delirth and holding SilverLight, it was 7. If you lose SilverLight, you can buy it from Sir Prysin for 500 GP. Attack stats: Stab(9) slash(14) crush(-2) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: Stab(3) slash(2) crush(1) magic(0) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other Stats:Strength(12) prayer(0). You cannot trade it.

[image]Faladian/ Blurite Sword: Obtained during Knight’s sword, this sword belongs to  Sir Vyvin, and to complete the quest you must return it to him. But you can make copies during the quest. This sword, being of little value in combat, is his ceremonial sword, and any player over 10 attack and budget to get a black longsword does not need it for combat. Attack Stats: Stab(9) slash(14) crush(-2) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: Stab(3) slash(2) crush(0) magic(0) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: Strength(10) prayer(0). You cannot trade it.

Member’s Weapons

Bone weapons:

These Cave Goblin weapons can be traded . Available only after The Lost Tribe quest.

[image]Bone Club: Available to buy from Nardok’s bone weapon shop in Dorgesh-kaan for 600 GP or can be obtained as a drop from the level 24 cave goblin guards. Used as a low level weapon. Attack stats: Stab(-4) slash(-4) crush(16) magic(-4) ranged(0). Defense stats: Stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(0) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: Strength(15) prayer(0).

[image]Bone Spear: Also available from Nardok’s shop for 600 GP, but is dropped by the level 26 guards, not the level 24 ones. Used as a low level weapon, as a spear it is more flexible than the club(refer to normal weapon guide), but sacrifices strength. Attack stats: Stab(11) slash(11) crush(11) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: Stab(1) slash(1) crush(0) magic(0) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: Strength(13) prayer(0).

[image]Bone Dagger: Despite the low stats, this weapon, combined with poison and it’s dangerous special attack, can be powerful in the right hands. By completing Death to the Dorgeshuun, you can unleash the powerful special attack - Backstab, which reduces the enemy’s defense by the amount of damage dealt. The only way to get this is buying this from other players, or buying it from Nardok for 2,000 GP. Cave Goblin guards do not drop it. Attack stats: stab(5) slash(3) crush(-4) magic(1) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(1) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: Strength(4) prayer(0).

Other Weapons

[image]Mjolnir: comes in 3 different shapes(which do not affect the stats) in order of which they are displayed here: Zamorak, Guthix, and Saradomin. Despite their looks of spears, they are used mainly for crushing. You need to have completed the Making History quest to get this -  use the enchanted key to locate the treasure. Dig when the key says it’s steaming hot. It may take a while to find the chest with the Mjolnir, but it can be traded from other players, although it doesn’t have that big of stats. Attack stats: stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(0) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: Strength(14) prayer(0).

Weapons which cannot be traded:

[image]DarkLight: An upgraded version of SilverLight. During Shadow of the Storm quest, you rub your SilverLight with black mushroom ink to make it black, then using it to deal the death blow to the level 100 demon, Agrith Naar. Except having raised stats, this sword also has a nice special attack, which will drain 5% of the opponents strength, attack and defense, and 10% of the same stats when fighting against demons. If you lose DarkLight, you can buy it for  1000 GP from Sir Prysin. Attack stats: stab(10) slash(16) crush(-2) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(3) crush(2) magic(2) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: strength(13) prayer(0).

[image]Dark Dagger: Received during the Legend’s Quest from Echned Zekin and can be used to kill Viyeldi, becoming a glowing dagger in the process. It must be used to force Echned Zekin to reveal his true nature during the quest. It’s stats are quite low, though. Attack stats: stab(5) slash(4) crush(-1) magic(1) ranged(0). There are no Other stats.

Glowing Dagger [Legends]Glowing Dagger: After you stabbed Viyeldi with the Dark Dagger, it will change to a glowing dagger. Talk to Echned Zekin to reveal his true nature - unfortunately it’s the level 183 black demon Nezikchened, so be prepared! Attack Stats: stab(5) slash(3) crush(-4) magic(-4) ranged(1). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(1) ranged(0). There are no Other stats.

WolfbaneWolfbane: This silver dagger will  prevent the men and women of Canifis to change into  their Werewolf form while fighting. Received at the end of Priest in Peril from Drezel, this dagger also has a hefty +5 prayer bonus. If lost, you can get a replacement from Drezel. Attack Stats: stab(11) slash(5) crush(-4) magic(1) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(1) ranged(0) summoning(1). Other stats: strength(10) prayer(5).

[image]Excalibur: The famous Arthurian ancient sword is available on RuneScape! However, I am afraid it will not defeat every foe.  It is obtained during Merlin’s Crystal from the Lady of the Lake(yes, she is here, too!)on the peninsulas of Taverley, and requires 20 attack to wield. This sword has the same stats as an adamant longsword(a low mid level sword) except it has 6 less strength. It pays off by the special attack - +8 defence levels!(here comes the scabbard…)It can be enhanced by the Lady after completing all the Hard Tasks of Seer’s Village Achievement diary. If you lose your sword, ask the Lady for it. Attack stats: stab(20) slash(22) crush(-2) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(3) crush(2) magic(1) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: strength(25) prayer(0).

[image]Enhanced Excalibur: The sword of Arthur returns, this time even more powerful. Aside for having much better stats,it requires 40 attack to wield, and the special attack increases your defense by 12, and also heals you 4 HP every couple of seconds 5 times! To enhance Excalibur, complete all of Seer’s Village hard tasks and ask the Lady of the Lake to enhance it. If you lose it, obtain the regular Excalibur from the Lady and ask her again to enhance it. Attack stats: stab(38) slash(47) crush(-2) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(3) crush(2) magic(1) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: strength(45) prayer(0).

KerisKeris:  This dagger is obatined during Contact! and is designed to use against Kalphites and Scarabs, and can deal up to x3 damage on them. When it happens, you will get the text “You slip your dagger through a chink in the creatures chitin, landing a vicious blow” also has a nice +2 prayer bonus. It can be poisoned. If you lose your keris, you can buy it for 20k from Osman. Requires 50 attack to wield. Attack stats: stab(40) slash(20) crush(-10) magic(2) ranged(0) defense stats: stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(2) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: strength(30) prayer(2)

Blessed Hatchet [Mithril]Blessed hatchet: Obtained during or after animal magnetism by bringing a holy symbol and a mithril hatchet to Turael, slayer master of Burthrope. This hatchet cannot cut any trees other than undead trees, and has a convenient +2 prayer bonus. Attack stats: stab(-2) slash(12) crush(10) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(1) crush(0) magic(0) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: strength(13) prayer(2).

Barrelchest AnchorBarrelchest anchor: An extremely powerful crush weapon, almost as fast as a dragon longsword. You will need 40 strength and 60 attack to wield it, and also the completion of Great Brain Robbery. It’s special attack will double the chance to hit and will drain opponent’s attack, defense, ranged or magic by 10% of the damage dealt. If you are killed with the anchor, you will drop 230k instead of the anchor. Attack stats: stab9(-2) slash(10) crush(92) magic(0) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(0) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: Strength(100) prayer(0).

Ancient MaceAncient mace: Given by the goblin generals during Another Slice of H.A.M. This mace requires 15 attack and 25 prayer to wield. Although being a low level weapon, it has a nice special attack - it hits through protect from melee and adds the amount of damage dealt to your prayer. It is possible to exceed your prayer like that(such as 40/37 prayer) It can be traded, but players which have not completed the quest cannot wield it. It cannot be alched, you will receive a message saying “this ancient artifact resists your magic” if you try to. If you lose it during the quest, buy it from the goblin generals for 1k. If you lose it after the quest, buy it for 1k from Tegdak. Attack stats: stab(10) slash(-2) crush(16) magic(0) ranged(0) Defense stats: stab(0) slash(0) crush(0) magic(0) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: strength(14) prayer(3)

The Rod of Ivandis.Rod of Ivandis: Made during or after In Aid of the Myreque by using an enchanted silverthrill rod on the well in the Salve temple dungeon while carrying a rope. It can be used on vampire Juvinates and Juveniles when they are in 1/4 of health to stun them in order to apply a Guthix Balance Potion on them. It can either kill them, turn them into human(which will give you a reward) or turn them into normal vampires so every weapon can hurt them. The rod id also used later to make the useful Ivandis Flail.  Attack stats: stab(0) slash(-4) crush(7) magic(4) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(2) slash(3) crush(1) magic(4) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: strength(3) prayer(0).

Ivandis Flail Inventory.PNGIvandis Flail: Made during Legacy of Seergaze from silverthrill chain, enchanted emerald sickle, and rod of Ivandis while carrying a chisel. It is the only weapon that can hurt Vyrewatch, and kind of acts like all the elements in it together - it can be operated to cast bloom in Mort Myre swamp or use it the same way as Rod of Ivandis. It can also cast all the basic elemental spells, but for some unknown reason, it is not allowed in the Fist of Guthix arena. The special attack is similar to the Rod’s - holding the vampires to apply the Guthix potion, this time it’s working also with Vyrewatch. This weapon’s accuracy and strength will increase every 50 Vyrewatch corpses you burn(same way as in the quest) until you reach 500. Attack stats: stab(0) slash(16) crush(11) magic(6) ranged(0). Defense stats: stab(2) slash(3) crush(1) magic(6) ranged(0) summoning(0). Other stats: strength(26) prayer(5).
