Absentee Apology

Apologies for no posts for the past week - I took a holiday, the first holiday away since my daughter was born 2.5 years ago.

Man, there aint nothing like a holiday away with a 2 year old....! I remember when a vacation was sex drugs and rock and roll.... Not so much of that this time around. But a break from work none the less - No phone, no laptop, no blogging.

PhD research is also getting the better of me so blogging may become less frequent but you can follow the progress of emntal anguish on my other site www.mikejones.net.au

I have a son in that same age range, Mike, and I know exactly what you mean. Vacations are indeed redefined. Hope you're finding moments of sheer joy with her in the midst of all the noise and exhaustion, as I do with my boy.

Thanks so much Phil. 2 year olds are hard work but Im sure you know what I mean when i say the image of her running down the hallway when i get home screaming 'DADDY'S HOME....!' at the top of her lungs is more than worth the occasional tantrum and lax of relaxation. :)
