Not profound or meaningful, but beautiful none the less.

It may not be dripping in meaning or used to communicate anything profound but its is delightfully beautiful none the less....

This short promo work of motion graphic compositing is the product of Version2 and was used as the opening of the Association of Independant Commercial Producers show. What is it? It's gloriously self indulgent being a work celbrating the work itself - an advert to promo the making of adverts. Ordinarilly I'd find this all pretty disdainful but despite the boundless shallowness of the application the work itself is mesmirising and divinely charming.

would be nice to put this on your own server it you want to show it to others .. rather than steal our bandwidth .. not cool

I really wish you'd left an email address. Or that you had emailed me. I'm dead set surprised by your upset. I had no intention of 'stealing' your bandwidth. If my little blog with less than 800 hits a day is a threat to your bandwidth then it might time to get a new service provider?? I am more than happy to mount the clip on my server if that is cool with you? I simply didn't, figuring that it would be most uncool to download and re-host. So instead I linked directly to and praised the work. I'm happy to change the link but there's no need to be so agro about it. Just an email would have done.

... yes please do.

Its not uncool to download and re-host if you want to feature the content on your site. It is uncool to pull it directly from other's servers imho.

Then no problem at all. Ive already used your video in a lecture i gave recently on motion graphics and visual aesthetics and will be happy host it from my own server. No harm or offence intended and I look forward to seeing more great work from you guys.
