How to remove DRM protection?

What is DRM?

Digital rights management (DRM) refers to a range of access control technologies that limit usage of digital media or devices. It has been used by some big companies to protect their intellectual property rights, such asSony, Apple Inc., Microsoft and so on. Songs bought from different companies will have different DRM protection that can restrict you from playing songs on incompatible players. For example, if you downloaded a protected music from Microsoft Zune that has windows DRM, you can only play the music on Zune player. If you accidently bought a PSP, you just can't play the music on your new player. Also, DRM restrict the usage of computers, so you just can't share you DRM-laden music with your friends. There comes the headache!

How to remove DRM?

To remove DRM, there are many methods, such as CD burning and ripping and so on. This article presents you a easy way: using software, such as Wondershare Media Converter to convert your protected files to DRM-free ones. It plays protected AAC or WMA files and records it in a new format. These software are especially useful for alleviating compatibility issues.

Here is the step by step tutorial for the program:

1.Download Wondershare Media Converter, and install it. Then, add WMV files to it. You can either click 'ADD' button to insert the music you want to convert?or easily drag & drop the files into 'Getting started' table.
