My friends over at VASST along with Sony Creative Software have developed a plug-in to streamline post-production with Sony Vegas Pro (version 9 has just been announced).  According to Sony Creative Software, "the Vegas Pro Production Assistant software plug-in automates repetitive production processes and features an easy-to-use, three-tab interface. This new plug-in includes enhanced editing features to help broadcasters create consistent, high-quality content for multiple delivery platforms with increased efficiency and meet challenging deadlines."
