Discount Comic Book Service

I got turned onto
Discount Comic Book Service by some friends at
Advanced Iron, and I gave them at try. Let me tell ya, the discounts you get are amazing! I just ordered the 25th anniversary printing of
Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein, which would normally cost $30, but I just pre-ordered it for $15!!
Think about comics you buy regularly, like Iron Man or Batman, and you're probably paying $3-4 for each comic. Now imagine getting that for half off, and you've got more money to buy more comics! Even with shipping, it's still a heckuva deal!
But what about the whole comic shop experience? I love it, guys, because I'm in my element (except when it comes to furries that hang out there), but even I have started to buy trade paperbacks and graphic novels online at a discount, because their value isn't as high as the actual comics they're collecting. I still float into comic shops and buy stuff, but DCBS is where I'm shopping now.
The comics always come in looking great, so I don't have to worry about the value dropping because it got screwed up in the mail. I suggest you pick your comics that you read every month, and put in an order and see if you like it or not. You're ordering about 1-3 months ahead of time (sometimes 4 months, as was the case of Frankenstein), so you'll know what's up.
I'd love to see some sort of "subscription" service, ie, a function that lets you select (or deselect later) a comic you read regularly, and your credit card gets charged and your assortment of books ship out to you. That way you only have to look at other stuff you might be interested in. About twice a month I'll do a broad search for Iron Man stuff.
