Iron Man sucks, as we sadly knew that it would. It's happened before,
and honestly, there hasn't been an adaptation that I can remember that
has been any better, as good as, or even "almost worth looking at" in
recent history. Of course, I can't expect them to make something that
comes close. Given the high level of expectations, they would have
been better making a little 8-bit racing game like pole position.
No - I'm not talking about the movie. I loved the movie. I'm talking about the video game.
The video game, ugh. If you downloaded the demo - you'd see how bad it is. Even if you've seen the GAME TRAILER, you'd recognize how miserable this game is.
This isn't the first time that a video game follow up to a movie has missed our expectations, and it certainly won't be the last time either. I don't blame the game developers completely - - they have to "throw together a game" to release when the movie does (or shortly thereafter).
Best of the "WORST" examples is outlined in PLAYVALUE: When E.T. The Extra Terrestrial came out, it was followed up by E.T. the Extremely Terrible video game. Kinda the same thing going on with IronMan.
Do not buy this video game, but do SEE the movie. Downey is awesome.

And as a follow up to the remark about the movie / video game balance that never seems to be: Check out PLAYVALUE on onenetwork here:
At first I thought you meant the movie! I almost fainted!!
