One point of contention with the iPhone is that unlike every other cell phone or smart phone deal you'd get when you sign up for a two year contract, there's no money off the iPhone with the same 24 month commitment.  If you get a contract on any other phone, you can get it for cheaper or free.

Now, MacLife.com is reporting that the iPhone 2.0 will be subsidized by AT&T with the mandatory two year contract, with up to $200 off!  All right, finally!
