WWE goes Blu-ray According to High Def Digest, the WWE will be releasing their spring spectacular Wrestlemania XXIV on Blu-ray. WWE Home Video has announced that their debut high-def release 'Wrestlemania XXIV' is set to pummel Blu-ray this May. Currently the top distributor of wrestling-themed sports titles on standard DVD, WWE (aka World Wrestling Entertainment) has alerted retailers to a May 20 street date for 'Wrestlemania XXIV,' day-and-date with the DVD version. No additional tech specs or supplemental details have been revealed for the title, although the Blu-ray is planned as a two-disc set. WWE says the full press announcement is due in the coming days, so we'll keep you posted. Suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $49.95.
