Once again proving that clock speed of a processor doesn't always mean faster speeds (remember that marketing technique in the late 1990s/early 2000s?), it looks like the lower-priced MacBook Air is actually slower than the previous model, despite a faster processor.  Macworld via MacRumors has the scoop.  Also, the new Mac Pros have slower speeds but are much faster than their previous versions.
