AT&T Wants To Extend Its Exclusive iPhone Contract To 2011

With its exclusive US rights to being the iPhone wireless carrier expiring in 2010, AT&T is making moves to keep it theirs until 2011. It makes sense to do this, because AT&T is making a ton of money off service. But if Apple opens it up to one or more wireless carriers, AT&T will likely see a lot of members jump ship. Most new 2-year contracts expire this summer (2 years after the initial launch), and you can go month-to-month after that, I believe.
