I had no idea how funny it would be to play as the infected. I don't remember a game in recent times that actually had me laughing in front of my computer so hard. You get to see where the "survivors" are by being able to see through the walls and there are plenty of dark corners to hide and wait to surprise them. There are four types of infected that you become but its all random and you don't get a choice what you will spawn as. They're all good though.

The four types are:
Hunter - pounces on top of survivors and tears them to shreds.
Smoker - shoots a tongue at survivors and drags them long distances away.
Boomer - vomits on survivors which attract the horde to attack them.
Tank - super strong with lots of hit points who knocks survivors around.

The survivors have to get to the safe house as in the co-op mode but as the infected being controlled by human players it makes it that much more difficult. If the survivors make it all the way through you'll switch off and there will be a scoreboard to see who came out on top. It's great how much more imaginative players can be when controlling the infected, coordinating with their fellow teammates to ambush the survivors at the same moment. If you get a hold of this game I guarantee you'll get some good laughs out of it.
