Rare to fix text issue in Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
According to a posting on Rare's blog, they will be patching Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts to fix the atrocious, unreadable text issues that plague the game!"It has come to our attention that people are experiencing subtitle readability issues with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
on Standard Definition TVs. We would like to assure you that contrary
to earlier reports, we are aware of the issue and currently working on
a title update to be released within the next 30 days that will fix it
for those with Standard Definition TVs. We're committed to ensuring all
fans of the franchise are able to have the best experience possible
with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts."
As Banjo
is due to be released across most territories within the next few days,
this is good news for everyone. Including us, as we would actually like
people to enjoy our game and not revile us with a fiery passion.
Apologies for any crossed wires and confusion since the issue was
raised. Hopefully now everyone will feel confident in their ability to
play the game as it was intended. If you're unsure whether the text
size will be a problem for you prior to the release of the update, it
may be worth downloading the Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts demo over Xbox Live or seeing it on a friend's console to judge for yourself.
