
With faceboooks 2.0 Free Update for the iPhone, they better matched the functionality of the website for the iPhone.
Some of the new FEATURES:
Facebook Chat (OK, not new, but seems to be working much better now)
Address book lookup
New, easier to use interface, including notifications and the full news feed
Photo post on friends' walls and view their full profiles
Photo tags (holding your finger down on the photo will show them)
People search, friend requests and your full inbox/inbox search
Photo uploading is faster
You can now upload photos from your library stored on the iPhone

You were also able to upload photos from your iPhone photo library using the previous versions.
This new version also utilizes a "shake to update" feature. Try it out.
The best features not mentioned are the new options when uploading a photo. Instead of just uploading it to your personal mobile uploads album, you can now add a caption and tag friends on-the-go on your phone, something that was once unavailable.
The navigation on the home screen story feed is a feature worth mentioning itself: story filters use a bar that spins through filter options horizontally. Tabs are similar to Google's Chrome browser in that they are at the top of the menus.
All of these features come with new graphics that animate actions. I am thoroughly pleased and give uber kudos to the Facebook iPhone development team!
