OnLatte files their patent application

If
you attended Siggraph in Los Angeles, or perhaps some other tech events
in or around New England, you may have seen the foam printer from
OnLatte, Inc which creates custom designs on top of your foam'd
drink.
Recently, the company finished submitting their patent and may be on their way to developing the next add-on for specialty coffee drinks.
Their printer is currently pretty big, but accommodates a large beverage topped with foam very easily. Getting the design to the printer is just a matter of opening up your favorite bitmap designer: Adobe Photoshop of course, and sending it to the printer.
The real trick is the delivery system and the caramel ink. mmmmm.... caramel ink.
It doesn't have to be a promo icon - the printer will recreate just about any image you put into it. Here's the sped up version of
NinjaCrayon topping a cuppa.
