Apple's MobileMe Still Having Problems?

It's been a rough transition from Apple's .Mac to MobileMe paid service, an I can attest. Though I'm letting my account expire, about 3,000+ emails disappeared last week and haven't returned. What's odd is, I set up the emails to permanently reside on my MacBook's email application. It's a mystery and yes, I'm going to the local Apple Store to solve it.
