OK - - so it's not as fun as watching those little fliers zap into the electric grid of the bug zapper, but it supposedly uses sonic technology to fend off mosquitos, and it recharges using solar technology - so it's green (and not as sadistic.... or is that "eco-friendly").

I suppose a 6 foot radius around me should be enough to keep away the blood suckers, but with the neighbor's fountain dormant all year, the mosquitos around here are large enough to carry cats away, and sound like helicopters hovering for the right chunk to take out of your back or neck.
