SIMS Castaway comes to Mac
Aspyr Media, Inc. announced today that The Sims? Castaway Stories for
Mac, the third release in the product line The Sims Stories, has begun
shipping to retail stores throughout North America. The Sims Castaway
Stories, licensed by Electronic Arts, was developed for Mac by Aspyr
Studios.
The "stories" aspect of the game allows gamers who are goal-oriented
take part in different tasks rather than simply relying on the social
or "sim" value of the game
It's particularly nice that Aspyr/EA made this game laptop friendly. You don't need all of the hardware that your desktop might be sporting in order to run this game. You can take it with you on the road and have fun whether you're on the road, or castaway at some business conference.
I haven't seen the game yet, but here are the screenshots I'd like to see (it releases today) - - but my vote is for a LORD OF THE FLIES meets RAVENOUS scenario.
Sucks to your asthmar, I'm playing Sims Castaway Stories.
This time your Sims have washed up on a tropical island!
Help them make a new life in an unexplored paradise in this easy-to-play, laptop-friendly version of The Sims. The Sims Castaway Stories features two great ways to play. In the new and engaging directed Story mode, fulfill goals as you explore the island, build a shelter, learn to find food, and make your Sims? lives as fun and comfortable as possible. You even unlock rewards along the way as you achieve set goals.
In open-ended Free play mode, you create your Sims and determine how they?ll evolve on their new island home. In an environment where anything-or anyone-can wash up on the beach, you decide how their stories unfold.
The Sims Castaway Stories is available now for only $29.99 through Aspyr?s website, http://www.aspyr.com/product/info/89.
