Not to anyone's surprise, the Nintendo DS is the best selling game system of 2007 according to GameDaily!  The little system that could sold six million units in 2007, which works out to be about one every five seconds.  Guys, if you want a present for your wife/girlfriend/significant other to get them into gaming, this is it.  My wife and I bought one for my sister-in-law, and she loves it!

"While much of the focus this year has been on the Wii and its stellar sales, it's the DS that's likely to become the number one selling video game system of 2007, Nintendo said today. According to internal data from Nintendo of America, the DS has sold more than six million units through November 30 in the U.S."
