PSP goodness while we were sleeping

While we were all sleeping, Sony updated the firmware for their Playstation Portable.  Some of the new features included in this update are:

  • You can now set a new theme under <Theme Settings>
  • You can now scene search when playing a movie that is saved on Memory Stick.
  • You can now view a slideshow while listening to music
  • Improved UMD drive operation to address issues where the drive occasionally suspends and fails to reload data.
