CLO Systems T2 motorized tilt mount will impress your friends

When buying a mount for your flat panel TV, one of the most challenging tasks is to get the mount in a position that is optimized for everyone's viewing angle. The CLO Systems T2 motorized tilt mount automatically detects when the TV is powered on and will begin tilting to 13 degrees for optimized viewing. You can also tilt the moutn with the included remote control. The system then retracts to its normal flat position when the TV is turned off. [Read More]

Our Planet, Our Stuff, Our Choice Video Competition
Our Planet, Our Stuff, Our Choice Video Competition

The stuff you use every day affects your environment, your community, and your planet. EPA is sponsoring a video competition to raise awareness of the connection between the environment and the "stuff" people use, consume, recycle, and throw away.

We need your help in creating videos that will inspire community involvement, spread information and lead to action. Your passion, your creativity, and your ideas can make a difference. After all, it's our stuff, our planet, our choice.

Hard Candy Case for your MacBook
Hard Candy Case for your MacBook

They look like candy, really, but they're more like a condom for your 13-inch MacBook.

Hard Candy Cases provide a protective barrier against the elements that assault your new  MacBook everyday. They are a hard polycarbonate shell that snap onto your MacBook and come in three candy-coated flavors . . . err colors; red, white and clear.

charge away: IDAPT Universal Charging Station for 2010
charge away: IDAPT Universal Charging Station for 2010

OK - so one of the things I hate is plugging any of my devices into the wall to charge them.  Or into anything.

And  maybe I just use these devices a lot - - but none of them hold a charge very well.  Certainly they don't hold a charge as well as my old phone (which was just a phone).

But this charger looks promising.  You don't have to attach anything special to the device so that it will receive the charge - you do have to plug it in - - but it's more like plugging in a cordless home phone.  You don't have to find the connector (I think I have no less 15 ipod/iphone connectors lost in my house)

One charger to rule them all.

Supposedly you can connect up to 4 devices at once, but the company would benefit by putting a powered USB charger on the side... just for a couple more.  C'mon - - with 4 people in the family.... you're gonna have a ton of devices to charge every other night / / or every night!

Tiny Solar Flashlight - perfect little lamp
Tiny Solar Flashlight - perfect little lamp

For about $40 US, you can get this solar flashlight for your car.  Yeah -  - I know that you have an application on your cel phone that turns the screen white, but this thing will actually shed some light under the front seat when you need it.

Vuzix - not your average pair of glasses
Vuzix - not your average pair of glasses

Vusix isn't your average set of eyewear.  These things are made by producers of defense grade eyewear.  This year at CES, they showed off not only a wrap VGA adapter but a whole series of UPGRADEABLE VIDEO EYEWEAR.

I'm wondering where the Christopher Walken ribbon tape machine comes into play next - - because it's getting close to that.

What's nice about this upgradable tech is that you'll be able to invest in even consumer level eyewear, then - perhaps as technology kicks in, you'll have more options later.

The new styles help you look less like a bad 80s tech movie.
