Free Wall•E tickets

A while ago... maybe a couple years ago?  People were talking about having DVDs available WHEN THE MOVIE RELEASED.  C'mon - that' might kill bo returns.

However, if you were decidedly going to buy the movie ANYWAY, and wanted to see it in the theater too, it might be worth it for movie companies to promote DVD sales this way:

BESTBUY is offering a free ticket to WallE if you purchase another Disney title.

How about - - Purchase the DVD with an advance "raincheck", for a current theatrical release, and get a coupon to go see it in the theater?    Of course, you'd only get the one ticket still, so a family of 4 would wind up buying 3 tickets.
