California drivers have to use a hands free device to make phone calls in the car. Here in Los Angeles, we do a lot of talking on our cell phones, and far too much driving. Many Angelenos do too much of both at the same time. That's right, you can use a mobile phone that features motion sensors to capture data. Most any phone with a MEMS (Micro-electro mechanical systems) Accelerometer can capture motion data into rx, ry,rz animation data and tx,ty,tz position data and then converted to Vicon C3D, Autodesk FBX and Acclaim AMC & ASF, and Maya MEL.[
