Vuzix - not your average pair of glasses
Vuzix - not your average pair of glasses
Vusix isn't your average set of eyewear. These things are made by producers of defense grade eyewear. This year at CES, they showed off not only a wrap VGA adapter but a whole series of UPGRADEABLE VIDEO EYEWEAR. I'm wondering where the Christopher Walken ribbon tape machine comes into play next - - because it's getting close to that. What's nice about this upgradable tech is that you'll be able to invest in even consumer level eyewear, then - perhaps as technology kicks in, you'll have more options later. Check it out: http://www.vuzix.com/home/index.htmlThe new styles help you look less like a bad 80s tech movie.

America beats Guadalajara in first game shown in 3D
Excited Mexicans clutching buckets of popcorn and soft drinks in cinemas ducked whenever the ball was kicked toward them as they watched Sunday's big game between America and Guadalajara in 3D.
At the packed Azteca, thousands more had a more traditional view of the match between the country's two most popular teams which finished with a 1-0 victory to America after an early goal by Colombian Aquivaldo Mosquera.
"It was incredible," said 25-year-old Claudia Fernandez. "I'd already seen films in this format, but watch a football match, never, and I don't regret it because it's much more exciting."

When "The Beatles: Rock Band" video game hits store shelves on Wednesday -- packed with 45 songs for players to sing, strum and drum along with -- the industry hopes it will provide the lift that retailers, publishers and console makers desperately need for this holiday shopping season.
Developed by Harmonix Music Systems, published by Viacom Inc's MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts Inc, the game could sell 2 million units in the first month alone, according to analyst estimates.
