Lucky Snorkel Day

We took a Pacific Whale Foundation snorkel trip to Lanai; I would recommend that by the way.  We stopped to watch these dolphins for a long time.

You can see how much clearer the water was outside of the bay compared to inside when we got to see them close up.

We then moved into the bay to snorkel. The dolphins were playing where we had left them.  After about 30 minutes or so someone on the boat alerted us that they were swimming in toward us.  I just hovered, camera in hand away from the crowd and watched.  They were all around overhead and under, I had a hard time deciding wether to shoot up or down.  They determined that for me as I lost a lot of shots above water because of their speed.  After that, I kept my head in the water and took as many photos as I could.  I forgot to use the Continuous Mode on my camera...AGHH!  What a great experience.

I cleaned this photo up a bit and created a card with Painter 10 and Photoshop Elements 5:

Two versions, I am not sure which I like better:
